Ductile iron manhole cover

The main application areas of spherical ink manhole covers: municipal roads, highways, communications, electricity, tap water, communities, schools and other parks.

　　 In order to ensure the normal use of cast iron manhole covers, attention must be paid to the installation quality, so that the dimensions are accurate, the installation is firm, easy to open, and the appearance is clean and beautiful. According to the technical standards for inspecting cast iron manhole covers, the following installation rules are formulated:

　　 For the brick masonry of cast iron manhole covers, the inner diameter or length * width and radius of the manhole cover size designed by the design institute should be determined (if it is constructed according to the actual sample), it can also be implemented according to the corresponding standards. When laying wells, it must be noted that the inner diameter of the wellhead should be consistent with the inner diameter of the well cover and grate, and the installed well cover should be level with the road surface. After the concrete or asphalt is cast and laid, the cover should be opened and cleaned in time to avoid mortar or asphalt pouring the inspection well cover and the seat into a body, so as not to affect the opening in the future.

When installing the cement pavement shaft, use C25 concrete to cast a 20cm thick ring beam on the brickwork of the wellhead to smooth it. Make sure to keep the shaft solid, flat and not loose, and cast a 40cm wide concrete protection ring on the manhole cover. (If it is a cement pavement, a concrete protection ring with a width of 20cm can also be cast and reinforced with steel bars) The maintenance period should be more than 10 days.

In order to maintain the beautiful appearance of the cover, the surface pattern and the writing are clear, thin iron sheets should be used to cover the manhole cover or used oil to prevent the asphalt oil from spraying on the manhole cover during the construction of the asphalt pavement. Cover the manhole cover with plastic film to prevent the cement mortar from contaminating the surface of the manhole cover and damage the surface patterns and writing. You can also clean the surface of the manhole cover with water when the construction is completed that day.

　　 When installing cast iron manhole covers on asphalt pavements, care must be taken to avoid direct rolling of the well seat by construction machinery. When casting the pavement as a whole, holes slightly larger than the well seat should be reserved on the pavement and placed after the asphalt is paved. (The concrete pavement should be installed after the second stone is laid and compacted.) Ensure the quality of the manhole cover placement to extend the service life.
